India Lucas, a passionate and empathetic doula certified through the National Black Doulas Association, is deeply committed to improving birth advocacy for all, with a special focus on marginalized communities. Her mission is inspired by personal experiences supporting her sister through multiple births and providing postpartum care, as well as assisting her neighbors during their birthing journeys. India is dedicated to raising awareness about the high mortality rates faced by Black women and women of color in childbirth and actively works to educate and support her community on natural birthing options. Her achievements include earning her certification as a birthing doula and providing hands-on support in successful births and postpartum care, solidifying her as a trusted advocate and resource for birthing families.
